Fly-fishing in the pristine rivers of South Iceland is an activity like few others. Salmon fishing is one of the river’s biggest draws and there is a strict catch-and-release policy for salmon, but anglers have also caught powerful Arctic char in the river. Partly or fully guided, these tours include all equipment, meals, and access to a newly renovated lodge, where a private chef is on hand to prepare all meals—and your catch of the day, if you land an Arctic char.
