Blue Lagoon is now open

December 15, 2024

We are happy to announce that the Blue Lagoon is now open with regular opening hours.

Since we are located in a seismically active area, changes in activity are to be expected. We always prioritize your safety and have detailed measures in place, if the need arises.

How to get here

Grindavíkurvegur, our main access road, is now open again. If you’re driving, please be aware that some navigation apps may still show outdated routes. Simply drive Grindarvíkurvegur, road 43, and follow the road signs to our premises.

Parking and designated shuttle stop

All guests, whether arriving by private car or bus, must park in Grindavík (see map). Shuttles will then transfer guests to a designated drop-off point. From there, guests will walk for a few minutes to reach our main building. Signs will guide guests along the way.

Please note that for now, our opening hours will be temporarily adjusted.
